This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices regarding the use of the mobile application Pomocus: Pomodoro Timer ("the App", "We", "Our"). By using our application, you agree to the data collection and usage practices described in this policy.
1. Data Collected and Purposes of Use
Our app collects and processes a minimum amount of data to provide you with the best possible experience.
- Sign in with Google (Personal Information): The "Sign in with Google" feature is used to create your user profile within the app. During this process, only your name, surname, and profile picture are retrieved. This information is used solely to display your profile within the app interface; it is strictly not shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising purposes.
- Usage Data and Analytics (Firebase): Google Firebase Analytics is used to measure app performance, detect errors, and improve the user experience. Statistical data collected (app usage duration, screen views, crash reports, etc.) is maintained through completely anonymized User IDs (UIDs). This data cannot be directly linked to your personal identity.
- Support Requests and Device Information: When you contact us via the support section in the app, your "Device Model" and "Android Version" are automatically added to the email draft to help us resolve your issue faster. This process is not performed secretly in the background; the data appears as a draft in your email application. You may delete this information before sending the email if you wish.
2. Device Permissions
The following permissions are requested for the app to perform its core functions:
- Run in Background Permission: Our app is a Pomodoro timer. This permission is required so that the timer does not stop and continues to function correctly when you move the app to the background or turn off your device screen. No location data or personal data is collected in the background during this process.
- Notification Permission: Permission to send notifications is requested to remind you when your Pomodoro sessions (work and break times) are complete and to communicate important updates.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
Our app may use the following third-party services to facilitate our services. These service providers have their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services
- Google Analytics for Firebase
4. Data Retention and Right to Account Deletion
We support our users having full control over their data. Collected analytical data and your Google login information are stored as long as you use the app and your account.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your data:
